Larry John McNally in Concert - Song Writing Workshop - Local Song Writer's Open Mic - FREE ADMISSION

A rare and unique opportunity to get up close and personal with one of hte most successful songwriters of his generation. Though Larry John McNally is not a household name, audiences will know his songs, which have been recorded by some of the greatest artists of all time, including The Eagles, Aaron Neville, Don Henley, Joe Cocker, Jennifer Warnes, Chaka Khan, Mavis Stapples, Rod Stewart, and legendary US blues singer/guitarist Bonnie Raitt. Raitt said of the song John wrote for her "Nobody's Girl is a masterpiece. Larry John McNAlly is one of my favourite writers ever. He's an undersung, underrated brilliant artist, and is constantly putting out records. He should be appreciated more than he is."

His own performances of his literary yet conventional songs are delivered with a warm vocal and his accomplished guitar playing which has been described as "folk-Hendrix". Having previously toured the US, Argentina, Japan and Europe as a solo artist, this Berwick appearance is part of his first solo tour of the UK.

Larry will host an informal Songwriting Workshop from 6pm. The workshop is open to all. 

Followed by an open mic session by local songwriters.
