About The Event
'Carol' starring Cate Blanchett and Rooney Mara is December's Sound & Vision film. Directed by Todd Haynes, it shows two women from very different backgrounds in 50's New York, slowly developing their relationship against a background of suspicion and taboo. A gorgeous-looking film with subtly powerful performances from both leads. Lovely soundtrack, too. Film starts at 7pm Sunday 5th Dec. As always, free entry, but you can book at www.radios.co.uk
